“He is a fool who cannot distinguish between what should be and what is” – Warren Falk

There are variations to this – all with the same meaning: It is simply unreasonable to reject a premise based on the undesirability of the consequences of its being true. One who seeks truth must accept its consequences, and likewise one who cannot accept an inconvenient truth simply cannot be said to be a seeker of it.

The truth is that it can not be expected that things are not always the way they should be.
